I hope you've enjoyed looking at these images of what was, and what is. The 25th anniversary of the end of war in Indochina gives us great opportunity for thought and reflection. The image at left was taken in November 1970. I'm leaning on a jeep in which I and a reporter were riding when we were fired on. Muzzle flashes and noise. The jeep carried us clear before expiring of radiator wounds. The photo at right was made in Saigon in April 2000. Neal Ulevich.
