Camillus S. Fly, frontier photographer, followed the U.S. Army into Mexico in 1886 to run the Apache renegade Geronimo to ground.
A parlay ensued, and the hostile band posed docilly for pictures. The images were a national sensation. Fly is buried in Tombstone, Arizona.
