Billy the Kid

Research suggests Henry McCarty was Billy the Kid's real name, although the alias William Bonney is more familiar to us. A major combatant in the Lincoln County War, Billy was killed by Sheriff Pat Garrett July 14, 1881 and buried at Ft. Sumner, NM.
